Introducing Marcus Schmidt as the New Director of International Sales
Marcus Schmidt, an experienced Project and Sales Engineer with a Master's Degree in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, has been a vital part of Senninger since 2016. He initially led our operations in Brazil. His leadership has been instrumental in capturing significant market shares in Brazil's pivot and solid set irrigation systems and introducing Hunter Industries products.
Under Marcus's guidance, Senninger Brazil has significantly improved the quality and efficiency of center pivot irrigation systems, enhanced irrigation education initiatives, and deepened dealer and manufacturer knowledge of efficient irrigation practices that save water and energy. His extensive experience and innovative approach will be pivotal as he oversees our international sales team, focusing on sharing knowledge worldwide and forming high-performance teams dedicated to excellence in water application management in agriculture.
Marcus is enthusiastic about his new role and the challenges it brings. He aims to lead Senninger Agricultural Irrigation towards becoming a global leader in efficient irrigation systems, providing customers with the knowledge to achieve economic and professional gains and promoting more sustainable and efficient systems that preserve resources.
Honoring Pablo Herrera's Contributions
We also wish to honor Pablo Herrera, the backbone of Senninger's international sales efforts for decades. As an agricultural engineer with over 40 years of experience, Pablo developed the International Sales Department from a solo mission to a team of 15 experts, expanding our reach from 2 to over 80 countries worldwide. His pioneering work in under-tree irrigation, customized solutions for tropical crops, and mechanized irrigation has significantly shaped the success of Senninger Irrigation.
Pablo will transition to the role of International Sales Consultant, continuing to share his invaluable experience and insights while supporting our company's strategies and new initiatives.
